Article Marketing to Help in Affiliate Marketing
December 30, 2010 · Leave a Comment
Article marketing has been around way before online media has been invented. Business establishments have been known to promote their products and services through the written media even before the world wide web was invented. And with the onset of the internet, online article marketing has become an easier means of promotion compared to its older predecessors.
Not only is online article marketing free (like most of its predecessors), it is non-seasonal (meaning, people can read your articles the whole year round, without exception as to what season your article is most applicable to), and can exist for even much longer than you will.
Many online business pursuits, affiliate marketing among them, have made use of the assist and the accessibility which online article marketing offers them. However, this same assist has jeopardized many qualities good ol’ fashion articles used to have: fun, quality, and creativity, among others. Many article writers have apparently forgotten the fact that their articles are trying to serve real life people, and not virtual search engines.
If you are into affiliate marketing, you are reading the right article. If you are into online article marketing to help you promote your products, all the better. This article will help you outline the qualities your affiliate marketing articles should have to wage the ideal profits for you, without sacrificing your potential customers’ trust.
INFORMATIVE ARTICLES
The main focus of online article marketing is to wage prospects with information at the click of a button. Your prospects do have a tendency to be impatient, so make your articles concise. Focus your articles on the product features and benefits your readers would most probably want to know about. If you feel you have enough skills as a writer, you might wish to omit some really good information about the product, and write in such a way that your readers might want to read more.
And never forget that not all information are created equal—some information are more beneficial than others, depending on the type of product you are promoting. Some products require a thorough discussion of the features, whereas a simple discussion of a product’s benefits might be enough for other types of products. The prospects should benefit from online article marketing, too, and if you have to, place yourself in your prospects’ shoes and try to envision what kinds of things they would rather get from your articles.
QUALITY ARTICLES
Article writers nowadays are beginning to forget just how important calibre is when it comes to written material. This isn’t to state that you have to be a major in journalism or a Nobel Prize winner in Literature to get to write well. The world wide web is bombarded with article-writing tips, a lot of which are even focused on online article marketing. If you still aren’t confident enough, you might wish to hire someone else for the job. Always remember that quality, and not quantity, articles will be ideal for your affiliate marketing venture.
WRITE FUN ARTICLES
How many crowded celebrations have you been to your entire life? And in how many out of these celebrations did you actually remember the obloquy of all the strangers who attended? See how simple it is to remember the guy with the great sense of humor, or the girl with great conversational skills? Leave the same impression with your online article marketing efforts. Make your affiliate marketing prospects remember you. They might not purchase anything off your hands right away, but the moment you sell them something they feel they need, the chances of them hesitating given their knowledge of your written humor is quite small.
POST IN ARTICLE DIRECTORIES
This might just be the ideal way for you to get your articles read by as many people as possible. If you do decide to post your articles to as many article directories as you can handle, please have the decency to write articles that deserve that much exposure. Reading a badly written article is, well, bad enough, but having it posted all over the World Wide Web?
No one needs, or wants, a badly written article, all the more, hundreds of the same thing. Do yourself a favor and don’t simply kiss your success in the affiliate marketing world by posting hundreds of useless words online.
SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZE YOUR ARTICLES
Article marketing is entirely useless if you can’t get people to read your articles. Make your articles easier to find online. Envision what keywords your prospects are most likely to enter when looking for your products. Establish them in appropriate places throughout your article. And don’t forget the calibre of your articles. Never ever forget.
Affiliate marketing has now become a much easier venture to undergo, especially with article marketing aiding its efforts. You can be successful in either of these ventures (affiliate marketing and article marketing) if you work hard enough. Following the tips mentioned won’t injured as well. Always remember that in the world of business, success is never too far away.
Finding The Best Businesses from Home
December 29, 2010 · Leave a Comment
In finding the ideal home based business for someone who dreams of being an entrepreneur, there is no hard and fast list of “bests.” One entrepreneur’s ideal home based business intent is another entrepreneur’s worst. So much depends on what that business owner-hopeful enjoys doing, knows how to do, and has some of the resources already in place for. Other considerations in determining the ideal home based business are what the desired market will bear – what the competition is, and how saturated the market is.
The ideal way for someone who wants a home based business to begin is to determine what she or he adores – what she looks forward to doing, what makes the time fly by for him, what she would gladly spend many hours of each day accomplishing. The next step is for the owner-to-be to assess his or her training, skills and knowledge of various industries. Putting the dream list with the skills list should indicate some crossover. Those things that end up on both lists are great indicators of the ideal home based business type for this business owner to-be. If, for example, a veterinarian’s assistant is exhausted of making very tiny money working for someone else, braving the 30 minute crawl along the highway commute, but really adores those horses that her employer cares for. She might well be a great candidate for a riding school proprietorship, a horse farm, or a grooming facility.
Once the industry and anything more specific in the way of products or services has been determined for the ideal home based business idea, the work is not done. The business owner has to determine that the business will make money. Questions the entrepreneur has to ask himself are “Who will be my customers? Why will they select my service? How often will they need my services – what will make them repeat customers? Who is the competition? How can I vary my services from the competition – i.e., what might be my niche? And, what should I charge for my services (based on what others are charging in the market area)?
Part of determining what to charge is determining expenses that must be paid to stay in business. Once the entrepreneur determines the price that will be competitive she or he must find out if that asking price will bring in a profit. If the price that must be put on the product to make a profit after expenses is too high to be competitive in the market the choices are to change the market or change the product. If it doesn’t make the company money, it’s not the ideal home based business.
Small E-business Success Stories, Anyone Can Do It!
December 26, 2010 · Leave a Comment
Today’s consumers are a great deal savvier than they were in the last decade, and internet-based businesses are back in full force. One mistake common to the dotcoms that bombed shortly after forming was demand of leadership and poor business plans. Everyone saw the potential in this new and intriguing forum, but no one quite knew what to do with it. Since no one had ever run an world wide web business, CEO’s attempted to run them like traditional stores. Even though you might sell the same products or services as a traditional brick and mortar store, there is a great difference in the approach to running an world wide web business. However, in the field strewn with unsuccessful businesses of the past shine many small e-business success stories.
The “mom and pop” businesses have taken the world wide web in stride. The family run e-business is finding a great deal of success on the world wide web whereas it might have struggled in a traditional store. Furthermore, e-businesses can be run out of the comfort of your own home, allowing individuals to keep their commitments and responsibilities while working towards developing a fantastic e-business. Just because your e-business might be small, thinking small will be the most detrimental to your enterprise.
Surely the founders of Amazon.com did not think small when they founded the online store, and neither should you. It might be difficult to keep that professional attitude when you can go to work in your robe and slippers, but strive to keep that level of professionalism that goes along with traditional businesses. Starting your own small e-business is a large undertaking and should not be taken lightly.
One such example of a entrepreneur who worked hard to develop a successful and profitable e-business is Sandy Stevens of Sandy’s Home-style Baking Company. Being able to channel her love of baking and sweets into a viable career, Stevens has experienced a great deal of success over the short time her e-business has been running.
Based in Vancouver, Canada, Stevens has found herself shipping her sweet treats all over the continent to a wide array of incredibly pleased clients. Stevens had worked out of her home in the past, but the jump into the unfamiliar realm of cyberspace was new. Working with web designer, Stevens was able to have a professional develop her thoughts and ideas into a professional website that promotes her baked goods to a world-wide audience.
Additionally, Stevens selected to advertise with favourite websites such as Yahoo! and Google to further promote her website. Stevens likened world wide web advertising to traditional forms of advertisement such as newspaper or yellow pages ads. Whereas these print types of advertisements can be quite costly, especially for a developing business with tiny money to spare, world wide web advertising is a great deal less costly for more coverage. Instead of a high-priced $2,000 a month for a full-page yellow pages ad, Stevens was able to promote her business all over the world wide web for a mere $500.
Stevens’ story is an inspiration for anyone wishing to begin their own business. Using something as easy as a passion for baking, Stevens was able to create a home e-business that is both successful and enjoyable. Regardless of her business savvy, technical know-how, or marketing experience, Stevens was able to channel her passion and seek help from outside sources to create her dream job. When it comes time for you to develop your small e-business, try to incorporate things you love and your business will surely be a success.
Business goes to Online

It is a well known expression of doing business in any industry that those who do not stay in step with the times will be those companies that eventually die out. There is no place where that truism is more evident than in the way that companies in virtually each business sector are finding to integrate an world wide web marketing strategy with their traditional communications and to wage the public with an world wide web “presence” to supplement their public profiles in other venues.
Of course, the value of the world wide web for income and promotions has been well known in the industries that service the youth markets and for the companies dealing with entertainment and the arts. Because the world wide web is in virtually each home and even now on hand held devices of each description, the access it gives to reach a target market are phenomenal.
This explosion of an entirely new marketing model has introduced the world of business to entirely new paradigms of marketing and new ways to achieve greater market penetration and sales. And so any business who has had to get out on cyberspace to keep up with the competition has already had to learn a whole new vocabulary that has grown up around the world wide web marketing phenomenon. Now terms like “Search Engine Optimization”, “Auto responders” and “Viral Marketing” become important and powerful tools to any business that wants to tap the power of the world wide web to increase sales.
The second wave of businesses that, perhaps reluctantly, ventured out into cyberspace were traditional retail business that you would not associate with cyberspace at all. This includes sport teams, restaurants and even retail giants such as Wal-Mart and Border’s Book Stores. In fact, the wave of change in how products and services are sold has been so rapid that entire market niches have been virtually revolutionalized by world wide web income techniques. Book and music outlets have been virtually hard hit as a massive percentage of their customers have forsaken the “brick and mortar” income outlets entirely to use the more convenient tools of world wide web shopping.
This has made it tough on some retailers to keep up. For the “mom and pop” business, the change has been particularly devastating. Already small, home grown businesses were struggling to compete with the giant mega-stores like Wal-Mart to keep their loyal clientele coming back. Add to that the migration of customers to the world wide web and the need for change just to stay in business became even more urgent.
But even businesses who do not depend on marketing at all have seen the need to build and maintain a well functioning business web site so they will have a “face” in cyberspace. In the modern marketplace, the consumer will go to the world wide web first to find out about a company and it’s goods and services. This has turned traditional ways of connecting with existing and new customers upside down entirely.
The good news is that these rapid changes in how modern markets work have made the business world more diverse, more able to adjust to changing business dynamics and more open to the creative and innovative minds that have always been the real life blood of the business world. And, ironically, it is often the small business that is most capable of making rapid changes to its online presence and ways to doing things.
In that the world wide web is a phenomenally dynamic place, new ways of reaching our customers change nearly annually. Where one year a easy web page might have been sufficient, soon we had to have chat rooms, MySpace pages and YouTube compatibility. Any business that sees these changes as chances to do something new and exciting with their business will be the companies that thrive in this modern world. And, as always, those who do not thrive with change will be destined to be made noncurrent by it.
5 Steps To Creating a 6-Figure While You Work At Home
December 26, 2010 · Leave a Comment
Creating a steady income from home can be a daunting process. Being successful from home can often take more work than your regular 9 to 5. But, if you learn to break things down and follow a easy formula, your home business can give you all the income and time freedom that you are seeking in a work from home business.
My successful business formula involves 5 steps. I follow these same five steps with apiece mortal I come into contact with. Having a system not only makes my days more organized, but also it opens up more time for me to enjoy the financial rewards that the system creates.
Here is my easy formula:
Step 1; Collect Leads:
This is an entire article in itself (which is in the works). For the intoxicant of keeping this article on track, I will touch on this only briefly. There are many ways to get leads. You can purchase leads, place ads in papers and on the net, use ad words, submit your site to search engines, mail postcards, etc. There are literally 100′s of ways to advertise. The trick is finding a couple of advertising techniques that you like ideal and that fit your budget and then try them out. Those that bring you the most success can be tweaked further to give you the results you want. Just remember to always test apiece ad or lead generating technique you use. From my own experience, I like to speak to those that are in my business and find out what they are doing. They have most often been through the trial and error process and can save you some time.
Step 2; Call Leads:
This is the step that most people have reservations about. If you want to be successful in any home business, you must pick up the phone. This does not mean “cold” calling people. I never call anybody that has not asked to hear about my home business. Use your lead generating techniques in step one to create leads that want to hear from you and then contact them. Whether you business costs $5 or $5000 to join, people want to know that there is a real mortal behind the business that they can consult with questions. Speaking to them and establishing a rapport and trust will go a long way to making sure that the prospect joins you in your home business. When still a “rookie” to making calls, it is ideal to have a script or outline to follow. This is not to say that you read directly from that. Just use it as a guide to keep you on track and in control of the call. Most importantly in regards to calls……LISTEN. Listen and take notes about what the prospect is telling you. Remember, you are trying to get to know this mortal and establish their trust.
Step 3; Email
It is hard to ignore this powerful tool. When collecting my leads, I always get an email and phone number to use in step 2 and 3 of my system. Just as I do not make cold calls, I do not send emails to those who have not asked for it. Spam complaints will kill your business and your rapport with people. When I get an email, I simply have that email address automatically entered into an autoresponder. My autoresponder then sends messages apiece few days to keep me fresh in my prospects mind. Autoresponders are a must have for any business. They grant you to stay in contact for long periods of time while doing virtually no work. They also increase the amount of times your prospect is exposed to you and your business. Remember this, on average a prospect must see your message 5 to 12 times before joining you.
Step 4; Direct Mail Information Packet.
With all of the new email laws and email blocking systems, direct mail is making a comeback. As I stated in step 3, you want to expose yourself to your prospect as many times as possible. But, if you use one method of exposure….your prospect might start to ignore you. Diversifying your exposure types will keep them interested. I must say that I do not mail information packets to everybody. Only those that I have talked with and that have expressed interest. Mailing the packets can become costly if you mail them to everyone. That said, putting the pack together is very easy. I used the ad copy on my website to develop the packet. Then I throw in a business card or flyer and send it on its way. This also makes sure that people actually see the content of your site. Many have seen so many websites that they just browse them. They are more apt to sit down and read printed text than to sit at their individualized and read through your website.
Step 5; Direct Mail Postcard.
Postcards, like direct mail, give you another way to expose yourself to your prospects. They are fun to design and can be sent swiftly and easily. Because they are less costly than the direct mail packets, I send a postcard to all of my leads. People love getting postcards. They do have the junk mail stigma and if designed well, they can give a individualized touch to your business. I actually send a postcard campaign that sends multiple postcards over a period of 45 – 60 days to my prospects. I use a service that does this automatically and even personalizes apiece card for me.
Always remember this, it takes on average 5 to 12 exposures to get somebody into your business. My 5-step process actually includes multiple exposures within apiece step. For example, my emails include phone numbers to live calls and links to movies to watch. One email can get me three or more exposures. The key to any business is to have a formula or process to follow. Knowing what you are going to do apiece day keeps you focused and grants you to track how your business is doing and what might or might not be working.
That’s it! Those 5 easy steps acquire me a consistent 6-figure income from home. Your results might differ based on your business, and your compensation plan among other things, but this process will definitely increase your sign up rate.

Will the Gold Boom Extend to Australia?
August 26, 2010 · Leave a Comment
When the market gets risky, buyers always flee to something safer. With the recent crisis in Europe, investors are feeling rather skiddish, so they are putting their money somewhere that they consider more safe—gold. This is important information for anyone involved in Australian business or looking to finance new purchases with Australian dollars.
Commodities have been a tempting retreat ever since the credit crisis, but the present circumstances only make that idea even more alluring. During the fallout after October 2008, governments around the world committed enough resources to push off the problems. Now, the market recognizes that those bills are coming due, and it won’t be as easy for nations to simply spend their way out of the mess. Worse, the euro and dollar are too tightly integrated for investors to flee to USD, and it’s hardly reasonable to think that any other currency would survive a collapse of the euro and the dollar. Finally, governments injected vast amounts of liquidity into their markets two years ago, and much of that has yet to be mopped up. That only points to high inflation in the next few years and commodities are one of the smarter solutions.
Whether these are the reasons or not, the simple fact is that the market is making a major bet on gold. Some of that is certainly hype. There will have to be a correction eventually, but for the time being, the prices are what they are, which happens to be quite high.
All of that is certain to have a influence on forex. This influence will only be greater with the producers of gold and the commodity currencies. The candidate that combines both most crucially is probably Australia.
To begin, Australia is the fourth largest producer of gold. In some ways, that status can be deceiving. Though three other nations produce more, the numbers are actually quite close, with the next producer after Australia falling much further down. More importantly, two of the other major producers of gold (China and the US) are major currencies with large populations. To say it simply, gold has a disproportionate influence on the value of the Australian dollar.
Add to this the fact that Australia is a major exporter of other commodities. In fact, the core of the Australian economy is involved with mining and commodity products. Nor has gold enjoyed an isolated boom. Other precious metals and minerals have risen at a similar pace.
Put both of these factors together, and the implication for the Australian dollar is fairly easy to predict. The basic principle is that AUD should have a reasonably consistent relationship with the prices of gold and other commodities. Expect to see a rise in AUD for as long as gold continues its climb. If many pundits are to be believed, the gold boom will level out at some point. However, the longer term prospect gets even more interesting. If the likely outcome plays out, world markets will experience an extended period of inflation over the next few decades, and as the experienced forex brokers know, the market typically flees to commodities in such times. That would only mean that AUD could remain stronger than other comparable currencies.
Of course, all of this assumes that the economy in general will be managed effectively and that there won’t be any major economic disruptions. Both points require major assumptions. Still, one specific point is easy to prove and quite hard to disagree with: the gold boom will definitely have a strong effect on the Australian dollar. Watch gold prices for a prelude on what to expect.
