Guiliani states he wants to run the country like a business, what do you think ?
Is this only a way of product packaging himself to all of us? Are these bare words? Are you from the view that running the country like a business will be good since businesses need to operate well otherwise they go below? When did all of us become infatuated using the president as the only real “ruler” of the nation? As a aspect note, I thought there have been three branches in order to govt…
Anyways, Would you like one ceo looking after all of us such as the tiny babies that people are? Do you need to give your capacity to a mortal whether about the left or correct? What are your ideas on this? Why do you really need a leader? Why would you like to be “patriotic”? Why would you support a leader? Are you human being or american? Isn’t this flag waving patriotism the thin veil for the own insecurity as well as identity? If a mortal werent american, can you still be? Enjoy that one.

In some ways we should run the country like a business. Get rid of the crazy government red tape. We all know the govt has some pretty a** backwards ways of doing things. But we don’t want our country ran like one of todays corporations. Masses watch you are but slaves.
As far as being an American – I think a massive portion of our people have forgotten what that means. A patriot is standing up for what is right even if it is just a where you work. You don’t have to be part of a union to get together with your co-workers and demand decent consequence and benefits especially when the corporate executives are making tens of millions a year.
Unfortunately, most people are afraid and behave like back in high school. They just follow the crowd and want to fit in rather than make their own lives, their children’s and grand children’s better. They all chicken out when it’s time to talk out!

Businesses are run to make a profit. Governments cannot be run to make a profit because by nature, they should only be doing the thinks that the public needs which are not profitable and so will not be done by private business.
And what does Guiliani know about running a business, anyway? He was a US Attorney and a Mayor. Now he sells his name to make lots of money. How does that give him business experience?
I don’t think running this nation as a business is a good thing. I think we need to think of ourselves as a community- business aren’t communities.

The problem with his proposal is that it has been tried again and again with ever republican president since Reagan.
Don’t like the Air Traffic Controller’s union? Declare it illegal and fire the whole lot of ‘em.
Problem is, when does ‘big’ government become too small to be useless? And who here really trusts corporate mindsets to be fair and equitable to the majority of the citizens of this country?
I love capitalism as much as the next fellow, but only when it works properly. Zero sum capitalism will destroy this nation quicker than our enemies abroad.
People who want to run the entire country like a business should be fired, have their pensions removed, then thrown off the premises and arrested if they try to re-enter.
Most companies have a board of directors (I guess this would be congress)

Novel Idea, that’s what Clinton did, he didn’t spend more then what he took in. Want to bet thats what Rudy means when he says that. Not hardly. Supply side economic’s has never worked and all repugicans practice tax cuts for the rich while the poor and middle class pay for it. Thats not good business as Clinton has proved.

Government is the biggest business that there is. Running it that way would make sense. What I mean is that we would be more fiscally responsible.
Dubya is trying to run the country like a business and see the mess we are in. I doubt it will work.
